2010 Nominating Committee - Milwaukee Branch of the NAACP

WELCOME!

This website was created on September 28, 2010.

It is committed to transparency, best practices, customer care, truth-telling and Accountability.

It was created for the purpose of honoring the NAACP brand, fighting for "human" and "civil rights".

Mary Glass, the Creator of this site, was Suspended as a Member of the NAACP on November 1, 2010, after 83 days of membership. She was suspended on "trumped-up" and "misrepresented" charges.

She was the "elected" Secretary of the 2010 Nominating Committee for the Milwaukee Branch of the NAACP Election.

We feel it is an honor to serve the tenets of the civil rights and human rights movement . We also feel that the NAACP has failed in its commitment to its Membership by the issues mentioned on this website.

We abhor cover-up, malfeasance, misfeasance, arrogance and misuse of power, desecration of the brand name of civil rights and human rights that was found at our local level during the administration of President Jerry Ann Hamilton - Milwaukee, places like Houma, LA, St. Petersbury, FL, Boston, MA and at the national level; no matter who you are.

This is especially true of the NAACP - A brand that represents blood, sweat, tears, dreams deferred and death.

Therefore, OPERATION RE-BOOT, Accountability Matters - "getting-its-house-in-order" is a priority.

ALL HANDS on DECK, WE, Not Me

My office calls for and will actively work to ensure that the NAACP elected-appointed-hired representatives "lead-by-example" with "principle-centered" leadership.

I ask that you JOIN US by letting us know of abnormalities YOU and/or others have encountered through the wrongful Election, Membership Suspension, Expulsion and Article X process; as well as, electorial interferences, financial irregularies, corporate sponsors, Freedom Fund Dinners and other suspicious practices that usurp the rights of the paid members of the NAACP and those they represent as a race.

OPERATION: RE-BOOT, Accountability Matters

Milwaukee, WI - November 23, 2010, Mary Glass, 83-Day Suspended member and 2010 Nominating Committee Secretary for the Milwaukee Branch is calling for others to step up to the plate that have been "wronged" by the National office of the NAACP-National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

Some preliminary OOPS found are:
  • National's failure to process Membership in a timely manner.
  • National failure to send the portion to local that activates Membership.
  • National's antiquated rules that do not conform with today's technological environment.
  • National's failure to honor and "update" its Constitution and Bylaws.
  • National's arbitrary and capricious acts that violates civil and human rights - the brand it is made of.
  • National's failure to provide a "Membership Packet" and orientation of rules, regulations and policies.
  • National's failure to provide a copy and reference of Constitution and Bylaws to NEW and oldd members.
  • National's failure to inform-say and post "absolutes" for Membership before Membership payment.
  • National's takeover of elections without Membership approval and extortion of payment.
  • National's divisive acts with "in-office" president at the local, state and regional.
  • National appearance of interference with "annual elections".
  • National's conflict of interest and disrespect of "paid" members.
  • National's "corporate" funding and Freedom Fund conflicts.
  • Local presidents with malfeasance and misfeasance tend to not produce end-of-year reports nor have AUDITS
  • National seeking guarantees for large sums of money from local branch - too often with the smell of corporate conflict of interest.
  • Nationals appearance ot "vote dulution" and highjacking an election.

As for Mrs. Jerry Ann Hamilton, we call for stringent presentation of records; i.e., personnel, volunteers, membership records during her rein, financial record keeping - year-end reports to national, Columbia Savings and Loan, American Family, Manpower, Miller, corporate sponsors, Freedom Fund dinners, misc funds, operations, rent/use of office payment for her personal business and a forensic audit to clear her books.

The wreckless behavior and disregard for the sanctity of the brand - civil and human rights have alluded those We, the People have allowed the opportunity of service - hired, elected and appointed.

We must stand firm and remind those who have fail in their stewardship, respect and understanding of role and responsibility to the Membership and the organization, that their time can not be long.  For they have desecrated the name of NAACP.

I will be back.
Mary Glass
