2010 Nominating Committee - Milwaukee Branch of the NAACP

WELCOME!

This website was created on September 28, 2010.

It is committed to transparency, best practices, customer care, truth-telling and Accountability.

It was created for the purpose of honoring the NAACP brand, fighting for "human" and "civil rights".

Mary Glass, the Creator of this site, was Suspended as a Member of the NAACP on November 1, 2010, after 83 days of membership. She was suspended on "trumped-up" and "misrepresented" charges.

She was the "elected" Secretary of the 2010 Nominating Committee for the Milwaukee Branch of the NAACP Election.

We feel it is an honor to serve the tenets of the civil rights and human rights movement . We also feel that the NAACP has failed in its commitment to its Membership by the issues mentioned on this website.

We abhor cover-up, malfeasance, misfeasance, arrogance and misuse of power, desecration of the brand name of civil rights and human rights that was found at our local level during the administration of President Jerry Ann Hamilton - Milwaukee, places like Houma, LA, St. Petersbury, FL, Boston, MA and at the national level; no matter who you are.

This is especially true of the NAACP - A brand that represents blood, sweat, tears, dreams deferred and death.

Therefore, OPERATION RE-BOOT, Accountability Matters - "getting-its-house-in-order" is a priority.

ALL HANDS on DECK, WE, Not Me

My office calls for and will actively work to ensure that the NAACP elected-appointed-hired representatives "lead-by-example" with "principle-centered" leadership.

I ask that you JOIN US by letting us know of abnormalities YOU and/or others have encountered through the wrongful Election, Membership Suspension, Expulsion and Article X process; as well as, electorial interferences, financial irregularies, corporate sponsors, Freedom Fund Dinners and other suspicious practices that usurp the rights of the paid members of the NAACP and those they represent as a race.

Today's Civil Rights Heroines and Heros

Over the last month or so, members of the Milwaukee Branch of the NAACP/National Association for the Advancement of Colored People have experienced some very interesting and SHOCKING notices and behavior as it relates to the upcoming ELECTION, November 20, 2010.

Today, I wish to toast the Seven (7) known members of the NAACP that have received SUSPENSION from the NAACP.  They are:
  • Elmer Anderson
  • Dorothy Coleman
  • George Hooper
  • Rita Johnson
  • Bettye Loving
  • Wallace White
  • Lauri Wynn
So far, the list primarily consist of all the elected members of the 2010 Nominating Committee.  The only person not there is MARY GLASS, Secretary, 2010 Nominating Committee.  Dorothy Coleman is a member of the Executive Committee and so is Bettye Loving.  Dorothy was not one of the members of the 2010 Nominating Committee.

The notices were shocking because they have:
  • shown an abuse of power.
  • misrepresented the NAACP Constitution and Bylaws.
  • shown disregard to members 1st and 14th amendment rights.
  • a dictatorial and Governor Orval Faubus type of addressing conflict  - - heavy-handedness,  misuse of power and denial of wrongdoing, just because I said so.
  • more than once gave the appearance of complicity - National office and local level of administration.
  • shown a disrespect for the brand of what the NAACP stands of.
  • engaged in politics that is tied to the lengthy disgrace that is found at our local Milwaukee Branch office and the present/outgoing administration of President Jerry Hamilton.
  • total disregard for "request of information" from members.
  • total disregard for complaints and charges against President Jerry Hamilton.
  • total disregard for complaints of wrongdoings that include the responsibilities of the officers and executive committee for the correct administration of the local branch/unit.
  • leaders from national that have engaged in thuggish and bullying tactics to gain submission.
  • "targeted" these committed and faithful members of the NAACP with trumped-up causes.
We salute the 7 and draw your attention to the willful and gangster type of behavior that is happening in Houma, LA when Richard Thompson was suspended to eliminate him from being a presidential candidate in the election, November 13, 2010.  See below.

I will be back.
